About the house. Built in 1990, this home was designed by Castlewoods for our family requirements. A unique floor plan was created to provide our family with “quality time” together, but yet privacy when required. The materials used in building this house were all natural wood and stone. There is no particle board in the production of this house. The walls are built of 2X6 construction. The home was zoned for energy efficiency with (2) furnaces, (2) A.C. units and (2) water heaters. (both blower units have the Bard April-aire purifier filters for allergy sensitivity. For cleaning, an electrolux central-vac unit is installed for both floor levels. (wifes idea) We also have a motion detector security alarm wired and functional, although we never have used it.
On our main level, our house consist of (4) bedrooms including one very large master, a sunken formal living room, a formal dining room, a very nicely equipped kitchen opens up to a majestic great room with a wood burning stove fireplace, 2.5 baths, a utility/laundry room larger than most peoples bedrooms, 4 or 5 utility closets and a very spacious over-size garage that we have part (3) cars in.
